Fortunately, slouchy soft/ harem pants are starting to get more common, so under the sun, from plain black to bright neon prints, there's every type. The soft pant I feel is more recent than harem (I think harem is characterized by losing and getting a low crotch and then being tighter at the ankles like sweatpants) so I've only just started to see those, but at almost every store I go to either online or in person I've seen a good range so you'd probably have luck going to any of your favorite store and at least finding a pair or at least finding a pair
They usually tend to be cotton blends for the material and are usually fairly light and elongated so they don't feel too constricting or heavy.
This is very good news!! ! I'd love to get a pair of loose-fitting pants for a change! I'm really sick of the fashion industry's ASSumption that the only reason why a woman would ever want to wear pants is to show off her butt.
Question: Do any of these pants also have pockets (deep enough to put stuff in) and belt loops?
I hate pants that don't have (deep) pockets and belt loops! Alas, the fashion industry has tended to assume that all women are fine with carrying absolutely everything in a purse everywhere.
