I'd like to ask for some opinions on a topic. I'm not sure where to post it though. It could be upsetting to some people. (It is for me, that's why I want to talk about it with others.) So I considered posting it in the haven, but it's more of a discussion I want, rather than comfort. It's about what I've seen in different online autism communities and how some of my views differ from the overall views of those communities, and I guess how it makes me doubt my own. It's about feeling confused and sad, because people have told me my views make me a bad person. I don't think I am, but maybe it's a problem how I think sometimes? I don't know. People here seem like a relatively rational bunch. I wonder what you all think. Please give me some perspective.
If there is a better place for this topic, I will post there. Otherwise, I'll just create an additional one here. If anyone is interested.
If you want discussion rather than comfort, then The Haven is probably NOT the appropriate place. Again I would suggest "
Autism Politics, Activism, and Media Representation," if what you intend to discuss is a matter of controversy pertaining to the autism community itself.
If it pertains to your political, social, or philosophical views more generally, or to miscellaneous matters of controversy that don't pertain to autism itself, then the appropriate place is
Politics, Philosophy, and ReligionSo far, none of us who have replied to you are moderators. Could a moderator please step in and be the voice of authority here?
