Has anyone here been diagnosed with tactile defensiveness? And if so, how do you deal with the pain on your skin?

I think I have mild tactile defensiveness. Nothing too distressing.
I have sensitive skin any way.

I am more sensitive to the touch than normal people in some areas of my body and shy away from hugs etc.
Although this lack of wanting hugs from people, may be a psychological issue rather than a tactile one.

I also do not feel the cold as much as normal people.

I am not super hypersensitive, as i was able to train in martial arts at various times in my life, without any problems.
Including Judo and BJJ for a bit. Both tactile throwing and grappling arts.

I have heard that some feel extreme physical pain if touched. Which must be very distressing and difficult to manage.
I sympathise with you if you suffer from this symptom.

Thanks I think I do. The problem I have most is with clothing it gets painful and i've noticed that after some of my clothing has rubbed up or where it was against my skin, my skin has these little red dots that almost look like dry blood and i don't know whats causing that.
