Do any of you know a couple of minutes after a thought that the wrong thought pattern appeared at a certain time at a given environment. A doctor told me only told me only autistic people are capable of doing that.

I get all sorts of thoughts going through my noggin' (head), but I only latch on to some of them...the rest I ignore.

Not sure what you mean,
but I know that I think in a different way when I'm heading for a meltdown.
I get stuck on particular thoughts, or a particular way of thinking, for a while.
I think maybe I lose connection with the parts of my brain which has the capability to pull me out of it, and don't get that back until the meltdown has run its course.

What is a "wrong thought pattern"?

And what is a "right thought pattern"?

Could elaborate on wrong pattern at the wrong time please? Maybe give an example?

I'm thinking along the lines of the brain as a computer loading the wrong program for the situation?

I'm confused, too. Do you mean that your train of thought isn't really on an organized path, like your mind wanders a lot?

If so, I do that. I can be thinking about feeding one of my pets, and then only two or three thoughts later somehow end up thinking about some idea I have for a cartoon or whatever. My thoughts seem very unrelated sometimes.
