Is anyone else being driven mad by this societies ego obsession?

I can't stand it anymore, its making me feel suicidal

I just want to enjoy my interests/hobbies etc, not have to keep pointificating whether they make me worthy or not all day.

they are sending me insane

Isn't it your own ego that feels compelled to pontificate and defend itself?

Many people are obsessed with society, themselves and their image. It makes me feel sick to my stomach.

Why worry about how humans are mad? Do you wanna save them?

Why do you care so much to be disappointed? Do you wanna join them?

Then decide to not pontificate, and go and do not pontificate, it really is that simple.

If it is proving difficult to stop pontificating then it might be time to examine whether your pontificating is meeting a need that is stronger and deeper than your need to enjoy your hobbies and interests in peace.
TL;DR version, are you telling yourself the truth about what your needs really are?
