Using incorrect words to describe feelings...?

I swear it's just me..

But it's beginning to annoy me!! !

Do you ever use the wrong words to describe feelings as in sensory related..
My biggest one is having a habit of using the word ouch for everything except pain in most circumstances.. such as itching, I'll say ouch and the more frustrating it is as I have been out and about and actually have said it and it's kinda embarrassing. Just curious..

In my own case, it's not limited to senses and feelings. It's also my thoughts.

Even something as concrete as whatever I'm seeing in front of me, words simply stumble.

Nevermind, everything seem to stumble whenever words are involved at all.

I automatically say "ow" to sensory things that I expect to be unpleasant, even if they end up not being unpleasant. It's funny. lol

I think I couldn't have said that any better.. I'm like now that you say it like that I just realised this is the same for negative thoughts such as one like "ow" cause I fear for my life.

That's what I was getting at. If I see something barrelling towards me I might say 'ouch' before I process that I wasn't hurt.

Actually, when I was 15 I ambushed a friend while we were baked and dry-fired a BB gun at him, he reacted like he been hit, surveyed himself and went, wtf, I felt that go through me.
