That's what I was getting at. If I see something barrelling towards me I might say 'ouch' before I process that I wasn't hurt.
Actually, when I was 15 I ambushed a friend while we were baked and dry-fired a BB gun at him, he reacted like he been hit, surveyed himself and went,
