According to the doc who diagnosed me, he and his collegues, just accept it as fact that Bill Gates is aspie.

Actress Daryll Hannah is diagnosed. But she is the only celeb I know of who is officially diagnosed.

Many of the famous come off as possible aspies.

But its hard enough for an expert to diagnose a person face to face.

Some historic figures who many claim as aspie are doubtful (like Thomas Jefferson, and Abe Lincoln).

Some famous people, living and dead, probably are/were, aspie. But its hard to say which ones were/are actually that, and which just have some aspie like traits.

Jazz pianist and composer Thelonius Monk was probably an aspie IMHO.

Others diagnosed:
Gary Numan
David Byrne
Dan Aykroyd
Keith Moon

People I think:
Meg Tilley (definitely ND, maybe just ADHD)
Kate Spade
Reverend Patrick Brontë
Charlotte Brontë
Branwell Brontë
Emily Brontë
Margaret Oliphant

Can you see the double masking using humour?

I don't want to share the spectrum with Hitler. But it seems that all the 'nutty' leaders are on the spectrum, like Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. I think it's all BS myself and I don't buy into it.

Anyone else notice Cyndi Masking? I know because when I mask it is very similar. She uses a lot of the same masking techniques as I do.
I guess that people who don't mask may not notice, and that is how effective the masking is.

I do not see Donald Trump as being on the spectrum myself. I don't know about Putin. I do find him interesting. Hitler is also difficult to tell.

Cyndi I can tell a million percent that she is masking. Trump and Putin show no evidence of masking to me. Hitler is hard to tell. He does put on an act when he did his speeches, but anyone would do this and it does not mean that they are masking. With Hitler one would have to see him in his ordinary off stabe life to tell, but he does come across more as an NT then one who is on the spectrum.

Havent read this yet, but have long suspected Wittgenstein was autistic.

Quote:
Abstract

It has been suggested that Ludwig Wittgenstein had Asperger's syndrome. This paper reviews the evidence and concludes that he had the major features of Asperger's syndrome.

Hitler always comes up for some reason.

Dont know why. Since he never had any aspie traits that Ive ever heard of.

Definitely a sociopath, if not an outright psychopath. But not aspie. And even if we had been an aspie ...it was the least salient of his traits buried in the backseat behind other things.

But a WP poster years ago did make a good case for one his henchmen, Heinrich Himmler, being aspie.

I agree with that.

I think Van Gogh as well.

Oh, and can't forget Kandinsky.

Err no, hitler and putin were just asses

Spectrum: emotional and developmental difference

Hitler...c**t with a narcissitic streak

reality: big difference

I've wondered the same.
