If ‘your life depended on it’ could you explain yourself without…

Psychology
Psychiatry
Philosophy
Biology
Physics
Language skills
Maths
Ect, (what else would it take)

Could you?

Partly, or explain yourself, more of an explanation than a description, more why you do things or think the way you do.

I'm struggling to remember a time where I've been expected to explain myself to anyone.

Yes. And no.

Yes -- without any technical terms and formal stuff. Which is easier in my native language.

No -- with or without more technical terms, native language or English, I struggle with words anyway.

Not fo me. I'd probably use environmental factors.

I imagine I could. I'm good at coming up with something to say and making people believe me. :) I wish more people would ask me to talk. :D

In fact, no need to.

And rather easily.
It is one of the work arounds I have as a student -- to simplify terms, less formal and 'intellectual like', and more applicable and organic like use of language.

I grew up with poor language comprehension, so...
I gather words, study the thesaurus of sorts, learn to use said collected words, and break it down to terms any layperson would understand.

If anything, explaining psychological terms to a professional, like, say, therapist -- as a patient makes their jobs harder.

Edit: yes-no haha.

I can’t explain myself even with all that. Most of the little I ever can come up with is things I am not, rather than things I am. For example, that I’m aromantic. It depicts how my mind is very different from most people’s, like that ninety-nine percent of the time nothing pertaining at all to getting/wanting a romantic relationship even enters my mind while it is such a huge part of most people’s lives. But it doesn’t actually say anything about what is there.

Studying and describing how the mind works is what psychology is, so describing how you think or how your mind works is by definition (self) psychology. If I’m understanding the questions properly, which I may well not be.

Probably not.....all the things the OP mentioned are totally intertwined in our lives-----even if people don't know the "definition" of these "things."

You cant explain ANY thing with out having at least SOME "language skills".

You ( the original poster) need to ...EXPLAIN ...what it is that you are asking about in this thread.

Do you mean "explain yourself" as an autistic? Explain puzzling autistic behavior you might have to others?

Or do you mean something else?
