I detect NT-philia in most populations. And there is lots of something like autistic phobia about. Is there anything like NT phobia in WP & AS/ASW populations?

NT phobia as in fear of NTs based on past experience? I guess that could be possible.

Keep in mind its not real in the sense NTs don't actually exist. It's an approximation (like "white")

So it's a phobia entirely constructed in one's head.

Actually yes. There is a lot of NT bashing on WrongPlanet.

That thread entitled "what NT expressions do you hate the most" has some mild examples. You can find much more severe examples if you dig deeper into the "General Autism Forum".

Its resentment mostly born of being mistreated by NTs.

Whether its a good thing or bad thing about WP is a complicated question.

I have a phobia of people because I feel like they're all going to bring violence against me. :|

It doesn't really distinguish between groups.

NTs are harmless, why even some of my family have been NT. Of course they are prone to making ableist comments. And I'm not sure if it is much better if you disclose to them. I may have disclosed to some borderline NTs, haven't noticed much difference in how they interact with me.

I have a fear of autism. Not autistic people, just having autism itself. I can't stand it.

I don't have a fear of NTs though.

I see NTs as individuals.

"Phobia" literally means "fear".

I doubt many folks here are literally afraid of NTs.

But "phobia" is used in modern parlance to mean "fear or dislike or hatred of". Like Xenophobia, homophobia, etc.

There are many who express resentment towards NTs. I sorta do occasionally myself.

It's possible to develop a phobia for anything where one has a negative experience.

However having a phobia for NTs is entirely a construct as the person needs to define what an NT is in their heads.

A phobia for spiders or heights is more tangible/automatic.

The word "Phobia" is used as the opposite of "philia" which means "love".

Xenophilia would be "love of strangers or outsiders". The opposite of xenophobia (fear outsiders).

I doubt many neurodiverse literally fear NTs but they may have bad attitudes towards them. But many of the bad traits attributed to NTs (like bullying) are also common among autistics. A young guy who used to be a member went to autistic only classes growing up, and testified to that.

We all already know that "water is wet". You didnt need to repeat it, and you didnt even need to say it the first time.

We do, but I'm not sure the OP understands.

I am sure NT phobia is a thing and I think it would be a terrible thing to have because they're everywhere and it would only be hurting yourself, not them.
