as a kid it was terrible. Now I have found ways to add fiber to my diet. Bran cereal, 5 cups of any kind of green veggie almost every day, fiber capsules that you can get at the pharmacy section of any box store, metamucil or like products. And drinking at least 8 to 10 cups of liquid every day.... simply making sure you drink lots of liquids can help a lot. doesn't have to be water.

avoid simple and refined carbs. that means nothing made of flour. no sugar/starchy stuff like pasta/noodles. no white potatoes or corn. eat mostly veggies.

I tend to have the opposite problem….but it’s rare these days, fortunately.

I should start eating better :)

I'm prone to being constipated and have been since I was a baby. I seem to have some form of digestive problem, like UC or Crohn's, and after years of it I have issues digesting a lot of foods. To avoid constipation or other issues I avoid/minimize my consumption of certain foods, and sometimes (though rarely now) have to use Miralax.

I get constipated but not all the time. Like sleep, my digestion fluctuates no matter what I eat.

Constipation is more common in women than men, but I don't know why.

No, but I do try to get as much fiber as possible in me, but if not use supplements.
