Whenever I look at Aspergers/Autism related forums these days, there are never ending references to the acronym 'ND'.

As a photographer, I find this frustrating, as to me an ND is a Neutral Density filter.

I don't tend to use ND filters in still photography much, but they are pretty much mandatory in video, and video cameras tend to have several built in ND filters, which you can select with a switch.

"ND" is usually an abbreviation for "Neuro-Diverse" or "Neuro-Diversity" in the context of this website.

In other contexts, it is also an abbreviation for Neodymium, Nuclear Deterrent, the refractive index of a medium at a wavelength of 589.8 nm, and many other things.

"Neuro diverse".
That is: having a divergent neurology...like being ADHD, or being autistic.

NOT... 'neuro divers'.

Maybe you're thinking of "horse divers". Those things they serve at parties..."horse divers".

My grandma used to call them "horse doovers."
I miss her. She was nice. And her horse doovers were tasty.
