Does anyone here have issues with feeling anxious after or during eating? I'm not talking about anxiety related to food sensitivity (e.g., texture, taste) but a rush in physical anxiety during and after eating. My experience is I tend to feel more regulated after breakfast and dinner, but I almost always feel anxious/dysregulated during and after lunch, like I could jump through the ceiling. I could eat the same thing for lunch and dinner and feel fine with dinner but anxious as hell during lunch.

Let me know y'all's experience.

I’ve not experienced anything quite like that, but I wouldn’t be surprised if others have.

Could it be related to caffeine intake at all?

Caffeine makes me anxious sometimes.

I just noticed that you have diabetes from the other thread. I’m wondering if it could be diabetes-related. I’d imagine that diabetes would be especially challenging for people who have sensory sensitivities.

I get episodes of nervous system arousal (not sure if its from autism or anxiety or PTSD)
It tends to be worst around lunchtime.
Can make it hard to eat, sometimes.
