Oftentimes, I find that I get overstimulation at my job during the day. Especially when I'm supervising the cafeteria for 2+ hours a day with 120+ noisy kids. It's weird though because overstimulation doesn't give me a headache like I've heard it does most people on the spectrum. In fact, I very seldom get a headache from anything. However, the noise volume usually makes me very tired and sometimes cranky because I can't hear what all the kids need me for. Sometimes I'll just say something like "It doesn't matter. Just eat your lunch." I've even sent too many kids to the bathroom at once because it's hard to hear what they're saying and keep track of all the kids with only 3 or 4 adults in the cafeteria at a time. Making them pick up their food off the floor is another challenge. And thought on this?
