Today head cashier Angela d had the nerve to tell me that she was giving me 30 minutes to sweep the sidewalk and she was going to "check up" on me.

Made me afraid that I was going to get made redundant for working "too slowly"

Uncomfortable edgy uptight scared nervous angry hateful inarticulate wounded micromanaged

There was no great reason why the sidewalk had to be clear in 30 minutes

She didn't do anything illegal, immoral or against SOP, but I think she was just giving me a hard time because she didn't like me. I've never seen Roy or Ben sweep before

But there's nothing to tattle about and nobody to tattle to

That doesn't even sound like something a head cashier should be concerned with. I'm pretty sure they're there to supervise other cashiers only.

the head cashiers supervise cashiers and lot attendants.

angela did not do anything against SOP, immoral, or illegal. but she is so annoying and micromanaging.

besides, when she told me to sweep for 30 minutes and then a customer wanted loading, i told (former) cashier Juan that i couldn't do it, then head cashier angela had the nerve to come out and tell me to do it b/c "helping customers" is first priority. (rolls eyes). But angela just had the nerve to tell me to sweep 30 minutes, and if i were to have been loading customers, then there's nothing to show for my efforts. home depot is on videotape, but managers do not have access to the videotapes; only loss prevention and cops have access to the videotapes. sometimes i wonder if angela just doesn't "like" me or something. i have not seen Tattletale tom or Roy touch the picker, not one time. (scorekeeping). ("entrapment") and, no, i do not think racism, sexism, or homophobia has anything to do with it.
