Has anyone ever treated you like you were sick or an invalid
?
Me, not really...
Well, once a friend of mine that I had just met who suffers from mild bipolar, depression, mild social anxiety and mild OCD said that always thinking of the worst case scenario was a "disease"... and he told it like he knew. ops" he had noticed I was "very, very high-strung" and suggested Paxil for me because he was on it for that exact high-strung "I want to get stuff going already! I can't wait or I'll go crazy!" attitude and said Paxil did wonders for him... I had then asked him if it made him complacent; what would he do if the mall across the street blew up? He then called up a clinic he had gone to and said "the young lady is not well."
Then of course it said on the papers that came with my Celexa that depression was a "disease"...
When I left school early in grade 9 to go to the social skills group that was that afternoon, an enemy of mine met me in the bathroom threshold and asked me where I was going, as school wasn't over. I said I was going to an after-school program... she pressed that it wasn't after school yet. She caught on and asked "Are you sick?" I should have lied better! I forget why I didn't!
