I would highly recommend reading the book When I say no, I feel guilty by Manuel J. Smith. That book helped me a lot with setting boundaries. It was actually recommend to me by someone on Wrong Planet while I was going through a rough time earlier this year.

You can find the book in audio form on Audible and Spotify if you prefer listening to reading.

Cheers,

i am too afraid of social rejection if i ask for what i want.

if i say "no", precious lil "people" might have the nerve to take out revenge on me.

Well, I guess you will have to choose which is the least of the two evils. Either risk being rejected for growing a back bone or continue doing what others want regardless of how you feel about it.
