When I was younger, I used to unintentionally yell too often.

Now I control my voice more. However, way too often, precious lil "people" have the nerve to grunt "huh" and "what" @ me, like they are the etiquette equivalent of "excuse me".

So, if I am too loud, precious lil "people" have the nerve to accuse me of "screaming" and if i am not enough they have the nerve to grunt "huh" and "what".

Sometimes those of us on the spectrum seem to be in the wrong no matter how we go about things or what we do or do not do. It's like when I would go to family functions with my parents & on the way there my mom would lecture me about how I need to talk to people & use manners like saying Please & Thank You. Then on the way home mom would gripe about how I was rude despite me saying Please & Thank You because I said things I should not of said due to them either being too much personal info about inappropriate topis or I just rambled on about things. I really wish people would pick a lane with what they want & expect from us. I realized I just can not please lots of people & I learned to mostly just focus on doing what I want or feel I should do. I do not really care nor get bothered if I inadvertently offend others or not & I highly doubt most others care or get bothered if they upset & offend me or not.
