If you have the opportunity to know how and when you upset or put someone off in the true subconscious state do you think this would be a good or bad thing?

Good thing, cause then you might be able to stop yourself before you do something stupid.

Each person is unique, so it would only work with that individual at one setting. People don't know what makes them angry sometimes. There are to many variables to accurately know it was you causing their anger or if they were angry at something else and taking it out on you as misplacement of anger. Use your first intuition if you are a little physic, these are usually correct. Trust yourself and love yourself, otherwise you cannot love another. You can do nothing and make someone mad. This is why I don't date. It is human for us to learn from our mistakes, but our brains are wired differently than the NT's and we have to replay the memories back to learn what we did wrong. It is unfair, but something we have to learn to cope with.

I think it would be a good thing mostly if the other person didn't know it was being done. Some people get ticked off when we "pick their brain".

I don't know. I'd like to know if I freaked or upset someone accidentally so I could prevent it happening again. But if it was something I did that was Aspie-ish maybe, something that I can't change, I don't know...If I knew people thought I was weird or off-putting in some way it would probably damage my self confidence.

You could have a machine scan the person in real time. Given that 'why' is not important, it would just give you the feedback. Also it would be in degrees of truth like fuzzy logic. :)

The type of portable technology available is stuff like infrared camera, voice recognition, face/eye trackers.

It just needs analysis to fit data in various subgroups.

Well if these machines are ever invented then I would surely buy one :)
I would like to know if I upset someone or made them uncomfortable.

It would probably prevent a lot of embarrassing moments.

My first instinct was that it would be a great asset but then I got to thinking that
it might become a burden if you came to rely on it too much. You could
get to a stage where you were afraid to trust your own judgement in any
situation.Learning the hard way is probably more character-building.
To quote Yousuf Karsh 'Character, like a photograph, develops in darkness'
