I have a new algorithm for extracting axises from factor-analysis. Since every version of Aspie-quiz have different axises, I've used the existing groups as a starting point and try to align them with axises in different versions. This works very well for every group, except for Aspie instinct that is too broad and doesn't load on any consistent axis. This problem is also seen in the grouping-report, where Aspie instinct is related to many other groups.

Anyway, I'm now breaking-up Aspie instinct into it's components. The major component seems to be the following (sorted on average axis loadings). I'd like suggestions for what to call this axis:

- Does it cause chaos in your body or mind if your plans, environment or daily routines suddenly get changed? (0.14)

- Does it cause chaos in your body or mind if your plans, environment or daily routines suddenly get changed, or if an activity that is important to you gets interrupted? (0.14)

- AQ - I prefer to do things the same way over and over again. (0.14)

- Do you need to sit on your favourite seat, go the same route or shop in the same shop every time? (0.13)

- Do you have certain routines which you need to follow? (0.12)

- AQ - I like to carefully plan any activities I participate in. (0.12)

- Do you feel stress, panic or have a brain malfunction in unfamiliar or demanding situations? (0.10)

- Before doing something or going somewhere, do you need to visualize the place you're going to or rehearse possible scenarios in your mind so as to prepare yourself? (0.10)

- AQ - It does not upset me if my daily routine is disturbed. (inverted) (0.10)

- Do you have a need for symmetry, order and/or precision? (0.10)

- Do you love to collect things? (0.10)

- Do you crave order in your home and work environments? (0.10)

- Do you more easily get very upset over 'minor' things (e.g. losing your favourite pen) than over things which others get upset about? (0.09)

- Do you prefer to eat the same food every day for long periods at a time? (0.09)

- Do you have strong attachments to certain favorite objects? (0.09)

- Do you have obsessions or compulsions (repeated irresistible impulses to do certain things)? (0.09)

- Do you sometimes get very emotional about simple objects? (0.09)

- AQ - I usually concentrate more on the whole picture, rather than on the small details. (inverted) (0.09)

- Before doing something or going somewhere, do you need to have a picture in your mind of what's going to happen so as to be able to prepare yourself mentally first? (0.08)

- Do you become frustrated if an activity that is important to you gets interrupted? (0.08)

- Do you prefer to wear the same clothes and/or eat the same food every day? (0.08)

- Do you need to finish what you're doing before turning to another task or person? (0.08)

- AQ - I enjoy doing things spontaneously. (inverted) (0.08)

- Do you prefer to wear the same clothes every day for many days in a row? (0.06)

- Do you like to collect items to make a set? (0.06)

- Do you get frustrated if you can't sit on your favorite seat? (0.05)

- Do you need regular eating patterns? (0.05)

- Before doing something or going somewhere, do you need to have a picture in your mind of what's going to happen so as to be able to preparei yourself mentally first? (0.04)

- Do you love to make lists, diagrams etc for the fun of it? (0.04)

How about "orderliness"?
