In your mind, if something is distracting you, imagine that a policeman (or any adult for that matter) is standing in your mind and shouting loudly, "STOP!"

That works with me sometimes.

What would you rather be thinking of? BTW what does your name mean? Is it something Native American?

I think her name is actually something "gothic".. I like it though, cause it sounds like something a black metal chick would make 8)

Um, surely you don't refer to her username?
If so it is a School house from Harry Potter.

Apparently, I've heard telling your mind "Be here now" gently works. However, whenever I try a new strategy, my brain gets used to it, and it stops working. So it's like I have to do all the running to stay in the same place.
