How do you use the mobile phone?

Do you have a mobile phone and do you use your telephone actively?

I have a mobile phone, but I seldom use it.

Most times I don´t even have my mobile with me, because I don´t like to have it in my pocket.

I put my mobile always off, because I don´t like to be telephoned unexpectedly. This is not likely, because almost nobody nows my number.

When I have my mobile with me, I use it to telephone other people if necessary, not to be telephoned my self.

I have one, and I use it only when necessary. I hate telephones, they always ring at the most inconvenient moments.

Also I believe the Americans call them 'cellphones'.

i have one, for safety, mainly - i always drive old cars, and so don't want to be cuaght out after dark. apart from that, i rarely use mine, except for sending texts, which are handy, sometimes. and it's not as though i send or receive many. i like texts, cos you can keep in contact with people without actually having to talk to them

I used to hate my mobile, but I am now using it more.

Don't have one anymore and when I did it was about 6+ yrs ago when you couldn't get online with them or do all the fancy stuff either.

I only text if someone else texts me.

I have an old cellphone and the cheapest plan, and use it in emergencies and when traveling. I keep it off except on rare occasions when making a call, or when someone is expected to call. This way battery lasts for 6 months without recharging. Keeping the phone online makes no sense, because all I get are "wrong numbers" and telemarketers.

My mobile phone is turned on all the time, and I use it often.

I only get called by about two people mostly on my one; my brother and someone I do work for sometimes who calls me up quite often.

I don't really like it, but I have it because of the times when I might get the work through it. I rarely call people on it; generally I send SMS messages. I far prefer communicating through email because you can control it properly and there are fewer possibilities for getting things wrong, as you have time to prepare.
