I have noticed that NTs frequently attribute meanings to my actions which I never intended.

To give one example, a work colleague implied that I was racist even though I had never said or done anything to cause her to think this (or ever would).

It may be that the Aspie's lack of response is interpreted by NTs as the holding of an opinion contrary to what the NT is currently saying.

Do others experience this?

Today at uni I was exhausted and looking out into space... An assistant lecturer walked past me and said, "wow, you look focused!"

Far from it, I was about as unfocused as I can get without passing out.

I hated it when girls thought I had the hots for them or that I was checking them out... It usually happened with the girls I didn't like, not the girls I did.

Im pretty sure most of the kids i went to junior high with thought i was a homosexual.
they would ask me and i would never respond. I just ingored them and let them think what they wanted to think.
I apologize if homosexual is a sensitive subject for anybody. i wasn't trying to offend anybody.

People always ask me if I'm stoned because my voice can sound quite monotone.

I know I've had misunderstandings because I'm not picking up on clues, etc. And my OCD-yness has occasionally caused problems (I *think* I hide it well).
