Did you or your mother (since toxins can be passed from mother to fetus and later on in breastfeeding) ever use any one of these over the counter products?

I find it interesting that the website states that homeopathic products were not listed "because of the low amounts of mercury present in the product" then goes on to list products that contain less than .001% mercury. That seems a bit biased to me.

That or the amounts were so minute so as not to register on the graphs.

You are KIDDING, RIGHT? My mother probably had the STANDARD vaccinations. I did ALSO! Some of them I had LATE though. I also had 2 tetanus shots, as I recall.

That's a long list. It appears to include standard vaccinations and commonly used products. I wonder what percentage of the population has used one or more of these products during their lifetime. I bet it's extremely high. The correlation implied on that site would only be able to make sense if mothers of people on the spectrum were far more likely to have used those products. If 98% of the general population has used those products, it would be impossible to form a correlation with ASD.

A few years ago, I heard this ridiculous statement on the tv evening news: "The mystery of peanut allergies may have been solved. A new study shows that 90% mothers of children with peanut allergies ate a product containing peanuts at some point during their pregnancy." I would have guessed that more than 90% of the population consumes at least one peanut per nine months, but maybe some of the women in the 10% were allergic themselves.

My father LOVED peahuts! I loved peanuts! Several of my mothers friends loved peanuts. She liked sundaes WITH NUTS! Oh well, I HAVE been diagnosed with a peanut allergy, so I guess that explains my allergy huh? But WHAT allergy? What kind of allergy doesn't cause sniffling, headache, rash, weakness, tiredness, trouble breathing?!?!?!? I NEVER had that explained to me! I still eat peanuts TO THIS DAY! If memory serves, that is about 43 YEARS(diagnosed to today), with NO symptoms.

You've got to be kidding. What, you lose the argument on your other thread, so you make a new one and hope no one notices? I wont go look up my links again so let me give you an overview: One the mercury once used to make vaccines wasn't the same one we associate with poison. The bad one is Methylmercury, it's hard to digest and very toxic, ethylmercury is different because it can be broken down and doesn't bioaccumulate.

Now then answer me this, if America used mercury and mercury causes autism, then why does England have nearly three times the number of autistic children when they don't? Why hasn't the number of children being diagnosed dropped sense mercury containing vaccines have been shut down?

Oh, and good luck avoiding mercury, it's everywhere. Especially in big fish, and that's Methylmercury there.

When presented with information that conflicts with one's beliefs, one is called upon to do two things: methodically assess the veracity of this new information; and determine how this information affects what one believes. A willingness to do this combined with a skill in doing so is what we consider intelligence.
