Well I'm a jazz musician and composer and I very much have Asperger's. Had it forever.
So...what do I say?
I'm in my thirties and am happily married, no kids. Don't want them. My wife knows all about my "condition." She's great. I take pills and pretty much get through it all.
It's lonely. It's really lonely having this awareness the others don't have. That's how I look at it. I have an awareness that others don't have. I'm focused. I'm thinking, you know? I write music. I love jazz.
I live in constant fear...no, that's not the right way to say it. It's just that it's such a drag to be always editing myself. Too much to think about all the time.
But I'm pretty much doing okay. Alright, this is really boring.
I'm a drummer and composer and life is actually a groove until my mind starts working against me.

Ha, you sound like the first non-troll to sign up today.

I've been trying to respond to this but I keep getting a catostophic error message or some BS so I'll try ONE MORE TIME to see if this site has its s**t together or not. No I am not a troll, and I am not an "aspie." I have Asperger's. "Aspie" sounds like something you'd buy for a toddler.
Well let's see if it works this time.
By the way, what's with the "Yog-Sothoth" thing? You still living with your parents?

Yeah, I've also been getting that error message a lot today, not sure what it means.
Yog-Sothoth is an Outer God, and yes I live with my dad. Why you ask?

Hi. Welcome to the board.

The site isn't always like this. I'm sure it will be better in the morning. Best thing to do is copy your message into a word processor before hitting submit. If it doesn't go through the first time you can just hit back and forward and refresh a bunch of times without having to worry about losing what you wrote.
