Cause and Affect?

Do you ever do something just for the cause and affect? for example; like knock a glass of milk over just to watch it spill everywhere? I notice I do a lot of wierd things just for that reason...

My son does that....not spilling milk.
He'll do something on purpose to see if he'll get the same reaction each time.

I've watched him do it. He'll look around to make sure you're watching him do it & then act suprised that you saw him do it.

Kids.....you've got to love em.

I try not to do it because my urges are much more dangerous than simply knocking over a glass of milk.

I have been known to do things for the reaction factor...

hate, hate, hate people that talk in circles, do not say what they mean or expect others to just know things, so sometimes, I prompt for a reaction, good or bad.

You mean, like short two wires together then apply the mains power just to see the sparks?

Sometimes, set a stick on fire to watch the smoke pour out of the end of it when the flame goes out...

I've been a bit disaster happy for as long as I can remember, so I always loved getting into mischief... pranks and such.

When i was younger, I tended to do things to see what people's reactions would be. Like put eight sugars in my tea, take a sip and then add more sugar. Or if stuck in a really boring conversation just say, "so then what did you do?" over and over till they realised I wasn't really interested.

Of course, now I think those sorts of attention seeking jerks are really annoying. I hate people like me SO MUCH!! !
