Do you ever stop watching a show or book or story because you love it so much and don't want to finish it because you will miss it. I know I can read it again but I just find myself reading something else before going back.

Also do you ever not spend time on a site for awhile because they dont have enough of what you want. Sometimes like hulu I dont want to spend time on there right now because they dont have as much as I want.

I tend to do that more often than I'd like to. Sometimes it's the opposite, a book/show is just so good that I HAVE to know how it ends because it's bound to be just as awesome. I'm rarely disappointed. :)

Yeah, I had that problem with the last Harry Potter book, in fact.

I know sometimes I'll read a book especially slowly if it's really good. I want it to last, dammit! So I read slowly so it does.

No, because I pay more attention to the characters than the plot.

I've never actually stopped reading an enjoyable book for this reason. For me the compulsion to read is pretty strong. If there are written words somewhere near me I feel that they cannot go unread; even the terrible marketing blurbs that are printed on the back of snack food packets, for example.

I can definitely sympathise though, with the sense of melancholy that accompanies a story coming to an end. I especially dislike it when books don't epilogue. Once I've gotten to know the main characters, I would be quite happy to read about them going about the mundanities of their day-to-day lives.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I get that with video games and stuff too. For me it's like having this urge to complete things, but when I do I don't seem to get the satisfaction I'm hoping for, and tend to feel a bit lost and bored until I find something else to capture my interest. Perhaps this is an Aspie trait?

The only time I've done this was in Uni, reading "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath."
I couldn't bear to finish it.
