I've been browsing this page for a few weeks and just registered the other day.

If you want to know something about me, look here.

But, what I wanted to say is that this is a real place of peace. For 56 years, I have wandered through the confusion of the world. When I finally learned to socialize (although I am far from perfect at it), I began to share what I have been through with others, including my wife. They show concern, support, love, and all that, but they do not understand.

You have been there, and are there. It is so good to find this oasis of people who don't need things explained but just shared, affirming ourselves and our lives.

I have begun to draw a great deal of peace from here. I will be around to draw and share a lot more. I just wanted to say thank you, from the get go.

Awesome. And you're welcome. I felt the same thing too when I came here. It's a wonderful thing to meet your own kind.

I've only been on the site for a few months, but I love it; I come here almost daily.

This is the one place where people really seem to appreciate me and my quirks. I don't recieve that level of Acceptance, anywhere else.

I really love your posts, Litguy. Your are so good at expressing all those complex things.

Here at WP, I feel like an appropriate puzzle part ; I mean, for the first time of my life (I am 43) I am fitting. Such a wonderful feeling. Such a relief...

That should be the new motto. WrongPlanet.net- the site where you expect the unexpected.

"The online resource and community for those with Asperger's Syndrome" isn't as descriptive of our true nature I think.

Reminds me of this quote that is very true to my own life if you change Ireland to In Yvetteland.

In Ireland the inevitable never happens and the unexpected constantly occurs.
