Question?
I'm sure it's been debated an endless amount of times but I'm pathologically unable to use a search form for a forum. Sorry.
Is Autism/AS/etc a psychological or a neurological disorder? Or something different?
I keep seeing these places like autismspeaks and such refer to it as a psychological one but from my understanding it has nothing to do with how things are done and almost entirely related to the physical differences within the brain. This would, in my opinion, make it neurological. At which point, I'd say keep you head shrinkers away from me. hehe
As in, you're not going to "cure" a neurological issue with training. You can help alleviate symptoms but in now way can that be a cure.
