I've been playing the X-Men legends video game and was quite happy with the fact that the graphics were simple enough that they didn't overload me like Halo does. Then I got to the level in the Astral Plane. For some reason, the game creators thought it would be fun to make all the walls and stuff "ethereal" and semi-see through.

I can't even concentrate, so I can't get past that level.

My question is, why do some people feel the need to make everything kind of predictable and normal and then all of a sudden they have to change it? What do they think it accomplishes?

I really wanna get that game...I'm a big X fan :D

I read that it takes you to every location in the comics, even the Morlock sewers!

Well, they make it more challenging. Thats what it accomplishes. Don't you get bored by easily beating each level?

I'm fully convinced that the makers of a lot of computer games are sadists.

NT's can get bored by repetition. It is part of their diseased condition.

But I don't enjoy games that I can't work out.
