This is lame, but do you ever seem to just say a word that don't exist?

My parents and I were driving down the road, and there was this driver in front of us, who was driving very slowly, and wasting time. My parents all of a sudden said, "this person is just 'moze-assing' along!"

I make up words all the time. I don't remember most of them but my best friend started a collection once. Seems like English (which is the only language I speak) just does not say what I want to say.

Y ;)

Neologisms are soooo fun to play around with! you have to be with someone who'll get them and/or improve on them, though. For example, a friend and I came up with the term dinosauropagnosia, the inability to recognize dinosaurs on site. Few people would know what that meant by hearing it, and less would care, but if you know the words "dinosuar" and any terminology with agnosia (object agnosia, or prosopagnosia, etc.) then it's a recongizable word.

Another words nologisms is the science of creating Bushisms? :lol:

Here are a few words that we use in our family;

cuzbuzbe - I love to say this word...it's a term of endearment in my family.

grawnchy - this is a noun or a verb meant to describe being in a foul mood.

Bimp- if you're being a total jerk, this word is used to describe you (with the emphasis on the "P" at the end almost spat at the person that is acting badly)

These are just a few that we use, out of many.

Snarky - a mixture of snide and sarcastic (origanally used to describe Mogget from the Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix, if any of you have read them)

There's a couple of words that exist, but I use in different ways, or when they're not usually used, like:

Shiny - for when something's really good, like when people say "brilliant" (as brilliant means "great light", or something similar, why can't I use shiny? :P)

Dibbun - from the Redwall series by Brian Jacques - I use it for year eights and younger - anyone who's not "mentally" mature. (That's not the best way to explain it, but it's kind of hard to explain.)

i'm always making up new words and phrases. it entertains me like mad when i hear my friends start using them in everyday speech, without thinking about it. :D

Gaby- an immature gay person. Ninkumfrankum, weeeaaallll- both words are expressions of existence. Feggie- disgusting or lacking in hygiene. AAAaaahhhh- usually expressed in a high pitch tone, it is a mating call. flubberghasted- expressing disgust at someone being overweight or an overweight person expressing surprise at said expression of disgust. Well, I got the joke, but was not entirey sure if it was meant to be one. Although of course the idea of someone on an AS forum saying something unintentionally funny is utterly unheard of. :P
