At the begining of this thread where smelena listed the qualities of an aspie i was shocked to find that i fit tony attwoods description far more than i thought i would.
i have written several times on this forum how i seem to have little in common with most of you here ( im not a specialist in any subject , I am not confident, arrogant or employed). Tony attwoods view of an aspie is my reality.

WOW!
I thought that AS people specialized in something technological, or with science, like I did! From being on this site, it seems that the specializing is such that it is something I might not have even noticed.
I was SHOCKED once when someone told me I seemed so CONFIDENT. I never thought I really came off that way. Many here don't either.
I have often said SEEM arrogant here. It isn't like I ever thought I was perfect, or so fully better than anyone. HEY, some here don't seem arrogant at all. I think even ALEX said I was wrong there. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if he was.
As for employed? Many here said they aren't, and of course some are young enough as to have never considered it.
