I would have thought that would be a fairer way of doing it.

The thing is, they expected good behavior from me, as if it's their birthright, rather than an expectation. So the reward() function, as well as the cout<<"Bad boy!" statement, would be redundant in my case. So me not doing what they want was like taking away a birthright (like Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for pottage). And like Esau, they'd get angry. Sad, really.

We do not desire to experience emotions. Emotions are a sign of imperfection.

They either say that I'm cold, don't care about anyone but myself (not true, I just don't know how to show it well) and unemotional, OR they say that I'm TOO emotional and easily affected by little things. Can't win!! :P

I am shy at times, but if someone gets me going, I am really overemotional.

I am a person of opposites.

I am either totally without emotion or having everyone that exists. 8)

Yes- my mother sometimes yells at me for having "a lack of affect". Guilty as charged, I'm afraid.

I was completely unemotional. Except for meltdowns. Then I hit puberty and got diagnosed and put on antipsychotics I don’t know whish one caused it but now I have more emotions then I can control but I still don’t get empathy
