I was looking forward to dissecting a cow's eyeball in grade 9; I had been for years, but I was afraid of being the odd one out in the lab, being picked on or worse, having my finger cut off by one of the others... for a while I thought of cutting off the finger of my partner if they turned out to be someone who picked on me or harassed or made it clear they didn't want to work with me, or was someone who already had, but what if they or their friends did something worse to me in retaliation? So I played sick and stayed home that day.

On the topic of dissection... when we did the cow's heart when I was about 12 I was the only girl who went near them. So I put my fingers through the valves and ran around chasing people with it. Muahahaha. Sissys.

Hello.

Ever since I was a kid I liked to get the necks of the Thanksgiving turkey and pull the tendons so the head bobbed. I used to scare my sister and stuff. When I was 10 I started playing with all the little organs. It was so fun. I still do that if mom buys them.

Sorry, That doesn't really fit either. But it's fun.

Haha, we must sound like a bunch of psychos. I just figured it was there, it was long dead, it was interesting, nothing scary...

That said, I'm one of these people who can't handle ANY film scene where someone is hurt, let alone stuff like Saw or Hostel. And I hate computer games where you shoot 'em up.

Since I was being picked on a lot of people who were in the regular English program like me, I was taken out of there and since my marks were "so good" (for that school!) put in the international program, where we had Spanish class and some classes in French.

i had this funny story while i was disecting a frog (or was it a rat?) with my lab mate. after much digging and cutting and pinning, i discovered this tiny little white marble right underneath its intestines. curious, i just poke the thing, and guess what? it was the bladder. when it burst, the entire class smell like a dirty toilet...

I spent several years in England. I came back to the states when I was 14. They tested me to see where to put me because I had been homeschooled for several years. I tested up with the sophomores. It wasn't until everyone started driving junior year that I realised I was younger than everyone. So I pretended that I was not driving for some silly ethical reason until I got old enough the next year. I graduated early and went to university. I ran into some classmates from my first elementary school in kindergarten and realised that they were all only juniors. That's when I finally understood that I actually slipped ahead of things some where.

So, it's weird to get together at school reunions because they are all 40 and I'm only 38.

When Having to do frog dissections while attempting to remove the skin my hand slipped sending this big chunk of frog skin flying and it landed on this "preppy" girls forehead causing her to have a massive complete freak out, as I sat there laughing my ass off and playing with the frog.

Also my school was worried about me for pretty much my whole life because one of my obsessions is morbid crap, so for most of my life I was labeled a goth(wearing tie dye usually ironically enough) and had my school trying to make me see a shrink because they thought I was a danger to someone for reading Poe.

A big portion of my 8th grade project was, to speak in front of the entire middle school. Of course, there wasn't even a slight chance of me speaking in front of even a mere group of 5. The entire school? No chance.

I bet this happened to alot of the members here, too.

I often went to school wearing clothes that didn't fit me right.

Speaking of dissection, we were given the opportunity to dissect sheep's eyes in science in year 9, but anyone who didn't want to were allowed to sit outside during the lesson. I vaguely considered it, but when I actually saw the eyes in the bag I chickened out. Afterwards the guys went on about how the goo inside tasted salty (:pale:)

I have only ever been officially diagnosed with dyspraxia.

In my freshman year, we had to dissect baby pigs (I was sick when we did the frogs in seventh grade.). Anyway, since there was an odd number of students in class, our teacher assigned our group to have three students while everyone else had two. So it was me, another girl, and a boy and I was already acquaintances with both of them. Anyway, the boy was totally into the whole dissecting thing pretending to perform surgery on the pig while me and the other girl kept our distance the whole time and laughed about how sick it all was. lol

I would get a very sudden illness if I ever found out that I had to open a dead froggie. I freaked out when I had to touch real rabbit fur for another science experience, so there would be not a chance of me going through slime and goo and organs and stuff *shutters*
I'm actually good at public speaking for some reason. I don't have a monotone like other Aspies, and I don't have stage fright if I know some of the audience.

When I dissected the fetal pig in grade 11 bio class in grade 12 I was really nervous and socially anxious and started playing with it and the brains went everywhere. I grossed a lot of people out, poking the pig's eye out for no reason and that. After that I was picked on in that class.
