Not only I love good laughs, but they help ppl relax, me included and regardless to whether you’re on the spectrum or not, not to mention its reputed T-cell boosting effect. Here are my favourites so far with random numbering (tadaaaa):

"cat as pie"

I'm relieved to learn you're not a chef who specializes in feline pastries.

(In case it gives wrong impression, respondants in this thread successfully made her feel reassured of the name)

B: "An emergency! Oh my god" *hyperventilates and starts rocking*
C: "Oh uh what? Did someone say something?"
D: "Why are we rolling? Isn't the plane faster?"
E: *walks to the fridge for a snack*

and don't forget the superpowers.......

Mr Remember_Every_Frickin_Thing - Long term memory power and recitation in excruciating detail

Ms Baddies_As_A_Special_Interest - There's nothing he doesn't know about baddies, but ask about anything else... (sigh).

Ms Out_With_It - Doesn't beat about the bush but extracts confessions by simply asking them if they're the baddies or not. Sometimes offends them to death.

Mr SlightlyOCD - Has the most amazing collection of vehicles and weapons - all arranged in order and grouped by color.

Mr I_Dont_Get_it - never gets jokes or social references... the Joker and the Riddler can't touch him

Ms Antisocial - Has the most secret identity of them all because she stays home and hides in the cupboard all day.

PLZ excuse me for any editting errors. You're welcome to beat me (or rather my selection).

I know it was a joke on this board....about three women who were applying for the CIA. Can anyone find it? It's a rofl joke, and the only one my NT wife has ever laughed at!

If you find it, pm me a link, please.

Cat as pie? Sounds like a cat that as cute as pie! I have several very cute cats, but I am their mommy, so I'm a bit biased.

An hour later I'm regretting I've created the poll options. I can't stop thinking 'but when I come to think of it I didn't read all the posts in all the forums, it was like this'll make readers happy and relaxed a little and give the writers deserved recognition and oh I'll call this post 'award' that's funny, but I really ever frequent the General Autism Discussion and Getting to Know You only and how can I call them 'WP jokes', maybe ppl who wrote other funny jokes in other forums are upset, and maybe ppl who wrote the jokes are worried sick they might not get votes but I can't seem to delete the poll options and how do I know how everybody else feels about it, oh this is the same thing all over again I'm doing that fretting again and... also... I mean... oh it's two hours later not one...

Thank you syzygyish. I appreciate the reassuring smiley and wink also. Excuse me for being nosy but what does syzygyish mean?

Thank you computerlove. (I'm not a man but I know it's probably just an interjection.) I'm relaxed now. I notice that I've created one option too many haha.

Hi whitedragon,Welcome to WP from me.
Oh, another Lady graces us with her pressence 8)
Sorry, i assumed
which is silly because i know full well that WP is skewed to a 50:50 male/female participation rate, which makes me wonder if the analysts who propose a 1/10 ratio for male /female dx
of Aspergers really know what they are doing. :?

:P This is actually a razz.Hold your cursor over it and a second later it will say 'razz'
Here's a real smiley for you; :)

A syzygy, in my dictionary, means a 'conjugation of tides'
-which describes me fairly well, high highs & low lows, i'm a bit manic depressive.
and an emo
but don't tell anyone :!:

Thanks for the difinition of syzygyish. Mystery solved.

I personally think it's just the case that we're not as well diagnosed. Research shows that both men and women feel that women talked more than men if they talked as much as men, which effectively shows how our cognition decieves us. On this point I agree with you, Alex the founder of this site (I saw his comments to that effect earlier somewhere), and Jerry Newport (he suggested a reason in his book 'M & W' but I'm too lazy to quote).

I did find the speech bubble that says razz earlier on but didn't know the word. I did think it odd that it had a 'P' in the BBCode and 'P' looks more like a tongue sticking out. This time I finally googled and found that it means 'harass with persistent criticism or carping'. Is this sort of a grey area thing that you interpret depending on the situation (as if I was born yesterday but never mind)? Or is that red bit actually a tongue and it's not smiling at all just sneering?

And isn't it funny we got votes for No.5 as well haha.

No, that was the definition of syzygy.
The mystery of syzygyish however...

The answer that stuck in my head is that, females being more socially sympathetic to start with, stick out less and protect/support each other more sucessfully,
but mostly, make the acquisition of social skills a life-long ambition and priority,
through observation and mimicry (watching soap-operas,becoming fanatical fashion divas etc).
The application of an Aspy's intensity to 'fitting in'.

On WP it's used almost exclusively in jest, for fun, not sneering, but yes you do have to interpret depending on the situation.Yes, you are poking your tongue out at someone.

I voted number 5 for the jokes of mine you didn't put in.
:P
