Hi.

I am 27 and am going for my driving test on the 14th February I got my learners permit last April and have done nearly 100 hours practicde. However now comes the big test the practical asssessment I tend to get nervous on these types of occasions any suggestions from other other aspies who have taken a driving test?

I always drive better after I have had a few drinks to calm my nerves.

Ok just kidding. The best thing to do is focus on the physics and the laws and forget emotion, because this is a test just like any other, driving is just all facts and figures when you get down to it.

I agree with the other replies. Make sure that you study for the test and that you know the reasons behind every point. If you already have experience driving, you shouldn’t worry about being nervous. You’ll pass that test just like any other. Even if you don’t pass it this time, you'll always have chances to later.
