Do you think there are a lot of posts here that people have posted as an experiment to see what the outcome is? Sort of like experimenting in a chemistry lab? Do you consider this to be morally wrong? Or is this acceptable because generating more feedback benefits the board as a whole?

I don't see what could be wrong with it.

I have no problem with posters who introduce themselves, state what they're looking for ("my boyfriend has just told me he's an Aspie"; "my son is having problems at school"; "I'm writing a termpaper"), and use polite, respectful terminology.

If, on the other hand, someone uses provocative, intimidatory argumentation and insults, and puts sh*t on nearly everyone who responds, then that should be seen exactly for what it is: contemptible.

I think not. For me, I do inquire because I am curious &/or have need. Sometimes urgent need (ie: feeling hysterically melty). Or if I have something fun, interesting, or pertinent to share, etc.
I cannot speak for another. I hope no one is deceptive by 'goading' answers or playing mind games - that I do NOT appreciate! But I like questions so we can explore/learn - that's what it's all about. So, I concur with SleepyDragon totally. No problem with honest inquires. I think most nearly everyone on WP is respectful and upfront about their expression and questions.

Next - for some fun! Since you asked about playing 'chemistry lab,' oh yes! The Lab Pet's realm is the chemistry lab. Please listen to my new favorite song! Click on the link below (you may dance &/or sing along). The Periodic Table Song. Enjoy:

I've been dying to share this now and here's my chance! Like it? Let's play chemistry lab!! !! !!

No I feel its important we listen and learn from each other, and feel it does not matter if your on the spectrum or not, we all need to understand and raise awareness to progress.

I think some people might use this board to practise their social skills, to see what might work outside and what might not. I think I've done this beefore on message boards.
