Why be told of a fairy tale? She doesn't know anything, and doesn't care. She is an IDIOT, and would rather see ANY candidate but her win!

Why don't we discuss the fastening technology on DS9!?!?!? THAT is more fruitful! Or how about the matimg habits of the boogey man!?!?!?

If you want fairytales, go to the brothers grimm!

More politely:

Hillary Clinton only knows of Autism Speaks. She thinks they actually do speak for us, and promises, if elected, to push for a cure. (Haven't checked her voting record yet, so I have no idea if she's done any of this during her years in the US Senate.)

Of course, she makes a lot of promises of things that'll happen if we elect her, and you can believe as much of it as you want... :)

Hillary Clinton is a loser, than. I think that the autistic American population should vote for the young black guy, instead.

I did find a link to the page of Obama's website spelling out his autism platform, such as it is; he speaks of accommodation for autistics, not of mythical "cures".

Personally, I favor Obama because he's intelligent, quick-witted, flexible, and knows that "bipartisan" doesn't mean "threatening members of the other party until they bow to my will". (In fact, in company with Republican Senator Lugar, he co-sponsored a bill extending the Nunn-Lugar bill [which provides money to purchase nuclear warheads from other countries, in order to encourage disarmament] to cover rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and similar portable artillery. He's done a good deal of other work that "crosses the aisle", as the saying goes...)

If she robs Peter to pay Paul, then she will have Paul's vote. That simple. One more political slimeball out to buy votes with taxpayer money.

For raising hopes and promising one group of potential voters that she will give them other people's money, she should rot in Hell.

All the others should rot there too.

She'd be my last choice for President.

Alex Plank had his picture taken with her. It's in the Autism Perspectives magazine, or somewhere else I forget. She must know about WP.

If I were American I would vote for Hillary Clinton. I think it's because I'm pragmatic. I think people who vote for Obama are too idealistic - they believe in simple solutions to difficult problems. Of course she's corrupt but she knows what she's up against, she knows what she's dealing with in terms of U.S. and world politics and she still wants to go back there. I think she's the only one tough enough to handle the current world crisis.

Also, I'd be very happy to see a female president but that's secondary. I think Obama will do a better job in ten years time than he would now.

Why does everyone act like they're the only two candidates?

Personally I prefer Edwards. Obama seems like a nice guy but doesn't know what he's doing yet, and Hillary knows what she's doing but mostly doesn't care what she's doing as long as she got paid off for supporting it. Edwards seems to have both integrity (for a politician) and practical knowledge.

Autism is not my top concern in the presidential race. It's not the only political issue in the world -- I care about our country not going down the tubes (and taking the rest of the world with it), and about environmental issues.

It's because they are the front runners. Edwards seems to be close to dropping out of the race. Of course, all things being equal I would have been behind the Green Party candidate, but as it is I don't even know if there is one.

I'm not sure, but I think her plan fundamentally amounts to throwing more money at the problem.

*applause*
And yes, ALL politicians are corrupt...even though there are people here (and elsewhere) who choose to believe otherwise.

Her basic platform involves throwing more money at the problem to find a cure for this horribly debilitating disability.

Personally, I think she's full of crap. I think we should push for revolt. It would make life much more interesting.

She does tend to speak from an Autism Speaks point of view. Very frightening prospects for the rest of us, I think.

Hillary Clinton doesn't have a program for Autism...

As a New York State resident with Hillary Clinton as my state senator, Hillary Clinton has done NOTHING for New York State.
She only became a senator so she can mingle with her high society "friends" who live on Long Island.

Should Hillary Clinton become President, this country will face worse problems that what the Bush Administration has done to us!
