Whenever I'm going through a rough time (Like right now), I lose ALL of my concenration and can't do work. This is EXTREMELY annoying when I'm already behind on a project and then I can't concenrate on it :(
Any suggestions? Is this normal for Aspies?

Pull out a piece of paper, and scribble your thoughts on it. Laugh at the results. Then try to get back to work.

I suppose it's normal for everyone.

I usually have extremely good concenration, so when this happens it's very frustrating. My thoughts are very blurred, so I can't write them down (another symptom I get)

I didn't say to write them. I said to scribble them, meaning to haphazardly draw or illustrate them. Whether accurate or 'blurry', it doesn't matter.

If that wouldn't work for you, I have little else to recommend, but I hope you regain your concentration. Mine is nothing like it used to be and not having that is irritating.

Sorry, that's too abstract for me (Sometimes I wonder how I got into the creative writing program at my school)

Is it a written project?

Hmm... Has there ever been any type of food or chemical or other substance that has improved your concentration during times of stress? How about an hour long hot bath, or reading something pertaining to a topic you're interested in? Perhaps solving puzzles might work?

Have you tried just jotting down every thought that comes to your head? You could be doing something else (such as posting on WP) and keep a pad right next to you when when they come flowing in, you write it down. You can do the sorting out later.

One key is no pressure. If you keep thinking about how you need to turn it in and not about the project, you'll only be making it more difficult for yourself.

Does listening to music help with your concentration? It works for some people, have you tried it?

Read spaces me out more, I have my period, so I can't have a bath, and I don't have any puzzles :( I don't have anything, I usually just have to suffer through. This isn't caused by the project - my life is going down the drains lately and I can't handle much of anything. (I've had three meltdowns at school this week, where I usually don't because I'm very worried about what others think and hold it in)

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I'll try and see...
