they make a really import post that they want answers to at 3 in the morning and they keep checking to see and nobody has replied. The post count turns out to be like 120 and nobody replies and then the next day its all the way at the bottom of the page because noone saw it and there might be 1 response. yea I hate that am I the only one who obsessivelylooks at my own posts hoping to see replies???

Im the same way :P

I can check in once every minute to see if anyone has responded. Ive never experienced not getting any replies here though. But its happened to me a lot in other forums. Which is why i usually spend ages trying to figure out what to write, and i spend like half an hour wondering if i should press submit or not... But when i finally have, i keep checking and checking for answers. Sometimes i cant sleep cause i have to go see if someone has replied.

Yep...I had a few melt-dons when I first joined because hardly anyone seemed to respond to my possts and I thought it meant they hated me but someone pointed out that ...how many posts do you rad that you would respond to but your short on time or not sure what to say or are just not feeling like communicating at the time. It doesn't mean you don't like the person or what they had to say. I think we can become pretty sensitive to "rejections" from past experiences.

Sometimes I get this paranoid certainty that I'm a thread killer because I'll post a response after four or five people have been discussing something, and then the topic dies immediately, like everybody just went, "Oh, what an a****ole", and moved on.

probably happens to everyone. I had a class assignment on Intelligent Design vs. Natural Selection, and I only got like, one opinion (in favor of evolution).

I don't like it much, either.

Yes. I'm trying to be patient with my suggestion thread, but it's irking me that no one has responded to say that they'd like the feature or dislike the feature and no one that um... edits I guess, the boards has popped in to say the feature is impossible or that they may consider implementing it.
