The second one I find especially interesting as there you see the expression only for half a second or so, so that seems closer to reality in a way.
I got 20 right on the first one (with lots of guessing though) and most wrong on the second.

I got 20 on the first one. But I put that down to bad acting! I really couldn't differentiate between contempt and disgust. Got 7 on the second one.

First attempt showed 13 affects recognized (better than 13% of the present probands). After it I have been passed the test again: without trying to remember my first answers, but more attentive, not as entertainment (still without long thinking); so the result is:

You have recognized 19 affects (This means you have got a better result than 54 percent of the present probands)
Joy 4/4 21 percent of the present probands have recognized less joy-affects than you.
Fear 1/4 You got mostly mixed up between fear and anger 26 percent of the present probands have recognized less fear-affects than you.
Disgust 3/4 33 percent of the present probands have recognized less disgust-affects than you.
Surprise 3/4 33 percent of the present probands have recognized less surprise-affects than you.
Anger 2/4 23 percent of the present probands have recognized less anger-affects than you.
Sadness 4/4 84 percent of the present probands have recognized less sadness-affects than you.
Contempt 2/4 32 percent of the present probands have recognized less contempt-affects than you.

For me it is not easy to distingush anger/fear and contempt/disgust/anger - rather near face expressions. In real life i'll simply use voice tone and social context.

CIO one is too fast I can't even see what's going on... So if I can't even see it how can I interpret it?

Those are skewed tests. I'm more likely to guess something actual about a person-not what they are 'acting' to show me.

Imitated expressions are not expressions. My guess at imitated expressions is not so go because they are false to begin with.

I can recognize surprise, sadness, and joy very well (3/4 or 4/4). I am mediocre at recognizing anger (2/4). I absolutely cannot register fear (0/4). Contempt and disgust are hard for me too (1/4 on both).

I will leave you with a Foxworthian jest: You know you're an aspie if your first reaction to the quiz is "there's a DIFFERENCE between disgust and contempt?"!
