Todays my birthday, I turn 23 today, even though ive been around 23years, mentally i still feel like a toddler lol.

Its also my 2 year anniversary with my neurotypical boyfriend, which was a long 2 years that involved a lot of meltdowns, spinning, biting, rocking, but we actually lasted, and still going strong haha :lol: .

Happy Birthday and by the way, I can identify. I turned 26 Jan 28th. I still feel like a child and sometimes get treated like one. I've come to the conclusion that age is just a number not a sentence. I don't know about you but I still feel like I stopped at 16. It's hard getting over the years of being a teen. Congrats to both you and your man. :flower:

It's my birthday too (35th).
I still feel "immature" emotionally, despite being ever-so-grown-up, intellectually. Feel silly calling self a "woman"-can't help but think of self as girl (albeit an old one). I end up referring to self just as "female", since that's neutral (ageless) term.

Have been w/my groovy nifty stable sweet strong bf (who happens to be NT) for 3 yrs. (as of a couple wks. ago). He's had a lot to handle, in being with me-but we're generally content together. Good for you, good for me-it's nice to have an aspect of one's life that's going well.
