Along the lines of sensory issues where is the worst place (that you have to frequently go or at least could frequently go) for you to be?

For myself I would have to say the school cafeteria (especcially during high school when there was guarenteed to be 400 students there) because it just has way to much visual stimulation and is way to freaking noisy! I would if that ever bothers NTs.

There's a fast food place near my house (won't name it, for liability reasons), which fits the "worst place" definition perfectly. There were always crowds of teenage punks hanging out in the parking lot, playing loud music, arguing, throwing trash, even harassing pedestrians who walk by. Recently, the cops cracked down on that, but the place still gives me a horrible vibe. I can barely handle walking past it, even though the parking lot is now empty most of the time. I haven't been inside for over 3 years by now. Whenever I want the food that the place serves, I drive for 20 minutes to another location.

Any crowded shopping area and the residual traffic. I live around a large mall, and the crowds and traffic suck. If gas wasn't $firstborn/gallon, I'd entertain the thought of moving back to my hometown (30 miles away from my job, compared to 2)

The buffet area of the dining commons here on campus.

Trying to walk around at 6pm when the place is horribly packed. UUHG!!

Yaaaaaaaaaaa someone agrees me me :) lol.

PS Im pissed that they took out the pub this year (which was like a grill place on campus) as that was a great way of getting food on meal plan and not sitting in the cafeteria.

I know multiple people who completely failed Middle School and managed to get into High School anyways. Hopefully I can fail High School and still get into College. :D

A crowded shopping mall is by far the most overstimulating place in the world for me.

I don't know about worst place, but bad places abound.

* Any place unnaturally noisy, especially when crowded with people

* Places in bookstores where I'm trying to think or concentrate, and some drone is on his/her cell phone, and they think they're the only person around.

That's just a couple of the worse ones for me.

Busy food eaty places. Like pubs. But only when I'm feeling fragile: usually when I'm at a pub I'm in a 'coping mood'! Restaraunts are hard though: you get packed in like sardines and then have to stay put for several hours in the one spot as people squidge past you! :?

Oh... and public transport with all the high school kids bumping you with their massive bags. And shops that are having a sale and you get middle aged women whomping you with their purse accidentally and glaring at you, all to get 5% off a T-shirt that only cost $15 in the first place!

I don't like busy restaurants and cluttered tables with too many people. I either pick at my food or gobble it down when I get overloaded in those situations.

The dreaded subway or train where im cooped up with loads of people in close proximity and unlike busses where the seats are all facing forwards some of the people are facing me and if im going far then im like that for hours. Then in the stations i have to work out which train is mine because the front only tells you the final destination at which platform and usually have to ask numerous people and if its in the London area its harder to get advice cos people there are used to avoiding conversations and eye contact at all costs (wonder if there is a mild Asperger's epidemic there lol)Ugh.Im feeling sick just thinking about it.

In the car on a long distance trip with my family.

Sitting in an exam during the winter when people are sick.
