friend with Asperger's situation...

I have a friend who says he has been diagnosed with Asperger's. He says he has panic attacks. After an incident he told me about that happened here at our college I almost wanted to punch the professor. Theres this professor who has a bad reputation. This professor apparently loves talking about how people should treat the environment better (I agree with environmental stuff as I am very far to the left politically), so this professor kept saying how it was all the young generation and america's fault and the world was coming to an end. My friend said he then started to have a panic attack and was crying and rocking back and forth. He was then put on suicide watch. In my opinion this professor should be punched in the face or knocked around a little bit. He just says whatever eccentric thing he wants arrogantly because he has a degree. If I was in that class, I would have told the professor, "Why don't you give your argument to someone who cares...you dirtbag" What is everyones opinion on this?

I'm surprised that a professor (who supposedly knows what they're talking about) vomited such rubbish.

Did the professor know your friend had AS?

So you can understand why i would be irritated? Yes he knew. Should I say something to this professor about his comments and possibly threaten him?

I don't think threatening him will amount to much, but you, for your friend, should at least tell him what he did that upset your friend. A professor that shows such ignorance might not even know. Sad but true.
