I'm just curious; I feel old for my age, kind of, a lot of the time. I know some people who're older than I am, some by several years, yet I feel older than them. What about you guys?

Sometimes I feel like I'm 60, and sometimes I feel like I'm three. It depends on my mood, really. When I'm around people my age, I mostly feel older. I'm not interested in the things they're interested in at all.

I'm 19.

I feel much younger (and perhaps somewhat inadequate) when I'm around other people. But when I am by myself, I feel as old as the world.

It depends on the situation for me. I cant hold a conversation with people my own age or younger because its hard to find something that we have in common. I am usually more comfortable speaking to older people.

I think emotionally I am immature and therefore have to constantly override emotions and base my responces on logic in a social setting to behave in a way thats acceptable. Most of the time I feel like a 12 year old tryng to live up to what adults expect.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am 21.

Emotionally: 12
Apperance wise: 25
Wisdom related: 70
Behaviour Wise: About 17.

In layman's terms, I feel and act alot younger than 20. Alot.

I tend to get on with older people better because most of them are less immature.

I turned 29 yesterday.
It is almost meaningless to me now. I feel like I stopped aging at some point around 19. Or rather part of me stopped while the nts kept going(socially), and the other part of me continued where the nts got stuck (philosophically). Does that make sense :?:

It depends, most of the time I feel a lot older than I am. Sometimes(like when my ADHD medecine isn't working well) I feel(and act  ) like an out of control two year old

I also like muffins. Serissa, have you seen Muffinfilms?

I've always felt and acted a lot older than most others my age. Though I don't know if there's any specific age that's associated with an almost complete lack of emotional expression.

This is one subject that i have a major hangup on at the moment, I've always known that i look younger then my years I'm 22 I pass for around 18 and for a few years i've felt stuck as 18 physically. [i feel around 20 mentally], Around people my own age i feel weird because how older looking everyone looks compared to me but i've always managed to not let it bother me,well until recently. I enrolled on a retail course for ages 15- 25. That's where it's been a bit of a downer, as i happened to end being the oldest in the class, striaght away my age drew gasps from the group, OH MY GOD 22 8O most of the time i laughed it off and i was fine, in fact i got on with this big group fine and felt popular among my peers i surpose being the only brit in a room full of aussies made me standout [and helped]. it wasn't until a few wk's in when a new guy 18 yrs old started, He made the biggest issue out of the whole age thing by bringing it up the whole time, while again i laughed it off and managed to throw in a few smartass comments back at him to make him look like the dick he is, inside i've been made to feel like crap. now's the course has finished i just can't get the whole aging issue out of my head.

Sorry for my rambling foiks, I just needed to spill my guts and get that down in writing no matter how incoharent it might sound.

When I was in high school, I felt more mature, and I guess you could say "older" than my peers. But now, in my senior year of college, I feel like I'm still a teenager mentally.

Oh I'm 19 and I think I pretty much look it; I dress older than 19 often (more conservative). I also have shorter hair than most girls my age (It's about shoulder length.)

Mental/intellectual age (not counting ability to support self, which for me is totally skewed beyond regogniotion and a long story): Probably in my thirties, forties if you count cynicism as a contributor. ((I do.))
Emotional age: When others are upset, often still thirty. When I'm upset, about four and a half.
Behavioral age: Generally matches those around me; not their ages of course but the ages THEY are acting.

For the most part behaviorally I feel like I'm still in my early 20's, feel physically, in my 50's, wisdom in my 50-60's and emotinally in my teens. Overall though I feel much younger than being close to 32 (in Nov.).
