I'm not diagnosed by a professional as neurodiverse .Therefore I must be neurotypical. All my symptoms are a delusion. Ha ha ha ha . I'm normal I tell you - NORMAL .

Haha :) We're all right, none of us normal. Forget the labels, dude. Like Gandalf said, "He that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom."

"Normal" varies, depending on individuals interpretation
What some people may consider "normal" others won't and vise versa.

According to a self-assessment test, my AQ score was 28, putting me in between neurotypical and neurodiverse. I think that is probably accurate. I do have quite a few of the salient traits of Asperger syndrome, special interests being the primary one.

I've done a lot of thinking. If mental health workers are intelligent, including pdocs , surely they would have picked up on things and requested an assessment if they thought I was a suitable candidate.

Nearest I ever got was a nurse practitioner saying schizotypal might explain things, but later on in the meeting printing out and giving me a page about a local Asperger's charity. There was no "I'll recommend you for an assessment" though.

The alternative is the average mental health professional is thicker than pig s**t ,which isn't very reassuring given these people are charged with helping you.

The lesson here: don’t rely on other people.

Not sure what your point is.

My family suggested to my shrink that I might have aspergers, and the lady shrink said that she had never even heard of aspergers before. So she looked it up and read up about it that night. Decided then I probably had it.

Years later I had the real deal: the real exhaustive three day examination. It confirmed that I really did have aspergers.

ASD/dyspraxia/learning difficulty/NVLD- it's all a delusional obsession. Speaking about me,not suggesting these things aren't genuine for other people. The APs do nothing for this delusion .
