Hi everyone,

I decided reluctantly to take a break from WrongPlanet, maybe for 2 weeks, maybe longer. Recently I get very overwhelmed by everything, and need a lot of time in the "5th dimension" (my dreamworld) to compensate. This has gotten to a point where not only is my work and daily life affected, but also is sleep and eating. For some reason, I find WrongPlanet community more and more confusing and incomprehensible, and thus overwhelming. There are several discussions that I would like to participate, but lack strength to do so. I feel somewhat like walking on eggshells, afraid of breaking everything around. (I'm not sure if this makes sense.) In this situation I think it will be better if I concentrate on my girlfriend and my job, and withdraw from community socializing for a while. I hope this will allow me to regain mental and emotional stability, as well as finally get proper amount of sleep. I hope you will remember me when I come back. WrongPlanet means a lot to me.

I also would like to apologize to all that wait for replies from me. I can barely concentrate on anything, being so dreamy all the time. But I promise I will write to you as soon as possible.

Magic

Its healthy to take a break when you need one.

We will be here when you feel like coming back.

It's a good call, to give priority to your personal relationship and work. Best wishes and I know many will anxiously await, with braided breasts, your triumphant return.

Take care!

Thanks a lot for replies. So far I am trying to catch up with urgent and long-overdue errands (e.g. a haircut!), and I'm working to modify my daily routine to include eating. (The problem was that I became increasingly nocturnal, and unfortunately at night eateries are closed, and I don't cook.) I hope to find some time for overdue correspondence, and maybe even for the Scientific American currently piling up unread.

(8 people replied - wow! Thanks a lot.)

Magic I understand completely what you are saying. I haven't been posting much lately either. Some of the topics are either heavy or depressing and I avoid the contoversial ones completely.

I will indeed miss you very much. Take a break and come back refreshed! :D

Magic, I am confused. The things you were talking about that you said you had to do were very simple daily things. Why would you have to take a break if you could go back to the computer as soon as possible. Well, I hope things go well, and you do have a good break.

Jason, sometimes we need to take time out for ADL's. Sometimes things just get too much and we can't juggle everything at once.
