When you were diagnosed, what other disorders were you found NOT to have?

When I was diagnosed, I was checked for the following and found that I have an ASD but not:
-obsessive compulsive disorder
-borderline personality disorder
-schizophrenia
-schizoid personality disorder
I was checked for all that.

Just curious about what you were tested for but found not to have. Before, I didn't know they checked for other disorders too, but it appears reasonable to do so.

I had a "trainee" psychologist screen me for a psychotic disorder at a hospital via checklist; I didn't, and don't have one.

'Do you hear voices?'
'Yours.'

Before Asperger's Syndrome became recognized by the American Psychiatric Association and listed in their Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM) in 1994, I spent my childhood labelled with many of those diagnoses before they correctly diagnosed me as an adult with Asperger's Syndrome in 2007.

My psychotherapist gave me detailed questionnaires to fill in before my first proper appointment and another after a few months. I was found to be very well-balanced all things considered and did not have any mental illness whatsoever.

Before I got dxed with AS, I got dxed with GAD (general anxiety disorder), cyclothymia, atypical ADD and atypical OCD (in this one's case, the atypical refers to the fact that while I have obsessions, I have very few compulsions). If I had time to go to a p-doc and actually pay money for something other than "hi, can I get my prescriptions now?" I'm pretty sure I could have the latter two overturned.

When he said I was worried that he would diagnose me with Dependent Personality Disorder, because I always seemed to be asking for drugs, he said I don't have Deprendent Personality Disorder.

He also said that the problem with bipolar is that it's the fashionable diagnosis and he did not believe I have that particular mood disorder.
