Awkward silence during visits to psychologist

I have had it with my past 2 psychologists.

When it happens my therapists ask me "What are you thinking?" I tell them, "Nothing, I just don't know what to say." Other than the awkard moments, I have been happy with both of them.

I wonder if neruotypical people ever have this awkward silence during their visits to pyschologists.

Who doesn't?

I've yet to meet someone who hasn't been subjected to an awkward silence in their lives, particulary at the pdoc's.

I do too, and my therapist said it's pretty normal :P

i dont feel its too akward we both need time to think sometimes
i do however feel that we need to be talking as much as possible bc of our short time .

but usually i just look at her and say, "What? What? Say something."

it works for me, she gets talking and asking stuff-
