I just saw it last night. I must say, alot of people with AS will be able to relate to the show.

I read the book years ago. Yes, Elphaba is much like an Aspie. However, it's much more a socioeconomic satire. I don't know if the musical changes the point of the book. It's rather complicated.

It's one of my favorite musicals and I've seen it a few times. Yes, the musical really isn't much like the book at all (including the ending). The musical really only focuses on their time in school and shortly thereafter. I really loved the book but the musical should be totally separate from it. Both awesome though. :)

I just picked up the book. I loved the line in the musical "this prince shows up and now everyone wants to go to a cultish social gathering." excatly how I feel about such things.

explains why i'm so addicted to the show. :)

elphie's definitely an aspie. and she gets hunted down because of it.

i read the book too. and it's very different. if they ever make a movie, i hope the base it on the book and not the musical, or do two separate ones.
