Using light.

I used to stare into lights as a kid to stim. Given that most of us have light sensitivities, did / does anyone else stim this way.

I never stared into a light on purpose, but I've stimmed by pressing the base of my palms into my eyes until I saw a colorful light show. I used to do this for several minutes at a time. The combination of light and pressure was pleasing.

No way!

I once watched a band and they had a laser light show. I ended up somehow hypnotically staring at the light and it was incredibly scary. I had to really fight this really weird feeling of vertigo or something ... if I had kept looking, I might have gone into a seizure.

So I tend to avoid staring at lights.

Unless I'm stopped in traffic at a red light waiting for it to turn green ...
